JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking to hire a full time Sr. Network Security Engineer with excellent customer relations skills and advanced knowledge of enterprise networking and security solutions. This is a consultative post-sales position where you will be directly leading the delivery of high impact projects nationally and across a range of industries including financial services, retail, transportation, health care, and education. You will use your industry recognized superior technology skills and experience to work closely with existing and prospective customers on solution design, deployment and support of product and service offerings.
We are looking to staff this person in either North Carolina (Raleigh or Charlotte areas) or the Atlanta, GA area. This position requires some travel in support of on-site project and solution delivery.
REQUIRED SKILLS - Architect, design, build, and deploy secure enterprise solutions for customers
- Understand the customer environment. Propose and recommend technologies and solutions.
- Demonstrated success in managing, analyzing and solving complex technical issues
- Strong technology and product skills that would include hands-on experience with the design, installation and configuration of the following:
- Network Infrastructure (Routers, Switches, Routing Protocols, etc.)
- Firewalls
- IDS/IPS
- HIPS
- VPN
- Vulnerability Assessment and Scanning
- Log analysis tools
- Windows/Linux/Unix security configuration
- Experience with working directly with clients onsite
- Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter. Ability to perform quality assurance and create first-class client deliverables with minimal supervision
- Mentor junior engineers, including the review of designs and solutions
- Work together with engineering, sales, project management to define the roadmap and milestones for each project, and the required involvement of delivery
DESIRED SKILLS - Certifications (e.g. CCIE, CCSP, CISSP)
- Minimum 4 years of Network Security experience
- B.A. in tech field or equivalent combination of education, training & work experience
- Cisco ASA, IDS/IPS, MARS, NAC and CSA experience
- Cisco Router and Switch experience
